LSU got its biggest win of the season on Sunday, knocking off previously unbeaten No. 2 Texas 70‑65 behind a clutch finish from MiKaylah Williams. After a sluggish 2‑for‑12 start, the Tigers found their rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring Texas 19‑14 and taking a five‑point halftime lead on Jada Richard’s buzzer‑beating floater.
LSU opened the third quarter with a 9‑4 run and eventually built a 12‑point cushion before Texas responded with a 13‑3 surge to cut the deficit to three. The Tigers steadied themselves, leaning on second‑chance points and a dominant rebounding effort, a 44‑35 advantage on the glass.

West Virginia University continued its big weekend, this time the women got the impressive 83‑70 upset of No. 11 Iowa State. The Mountaineers forced 30 points off ISU giveaways and had a second‑half surge to pull away after leading 40‑39 at halftime. Wheeler powered WVU with 25 points, while a 9‑0 fourth‑quarter run stretched the lead to 73‑56 and effectively sealed the win.
Iowa State, playing without Addy Brown and Arianna Jackson, leaned heavily on the nation's leading scorer Audi Crooks, who opened the game 8‑for‑8 and finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds for her seventh double‑double of the season. Sydney Harris added 15 points and Reagan Wilson scored 11, each hitting three 3‑pointers as ISU totaled 10 from deep.
But West Virginia’s pressure and depth proved too much, handing the Cyclones their third straight loss while improving to 4‑1 in conference play.

No. 6 Kentucky outlasts No. 5 Oklahoma 63-57 in top-10 showdown
No. 6 Kentucky women’s basketball closed strong to secure a 63-57 win over No. 5 Oklahoma on Sunday night in a physical top-10 matchup.
Kentucky broke a 55-all tie midway through the fourth quarter. Jordan Obi went on a personal run with a layup off an assist from Asia Boone, then converted again through contact to give the Wildcats a two-possession cushion. Tonie Morgan and Boone helped seal the win at the line as Kentucky limited Oklahoma to one field goal over the final three minutes.
Oklahoma trimmed the deficit to four in the final seconds, but Boone made it and hit a free throw with two seconds left to put the game away. Kentucky forced key turnovers and controlled the glass late to fend off multiple late Sooner pushes.
The Wildcats overcame a slow shooting start, 0-9 from three, and a back-and-forth second half to earn a ranked victory and improve their record against another top-five opponent.

No. 19 Ohio State surges past No. 8 Maryland, 89-76
Jaloni Cambridge continues her hot start to 2026 with a 28-point performance as Ohio State takes down No. 8 Maryland, 89-76. Cambridge scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to help Ohio State pull away in the final frame. This comes after she scored a career-high 41 points against Illinois Wednesday.
Maryland held a 15-point lead in the second quarter, but the Buckeyes picked up the scoring, narrowing the deficit to just two points at the half. Ohio State continued to chip away, eventually taking the lead roughly halfway through the third quarter.
The Buckeyes really turned it on late, going on a 20-10 run in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Terps. Ohio State piled up 28 fourth-quarter points in total and would hold onto the lead for the rest of the quarter, taking home its fourth-straight conference win.
