Stanford's Christian McCaffrey scores on first play of the Rose Bowl

Stanford do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey started off the 2016 Rose Bowl with a bang, catching a pass from quarterback Kevin Hogan for a 75-yard touchdown 11 seconds into the game.

The score was one of the quickest touchdowns in Rose Bowl history and the second longest touchdown pass in Rose Bowl history.

And for McCaffrey, the 75-yard catch-and-run was the longest play in the sophomore's career at Stanford. McCaffrey, who won the AP player of the year award and finished second in the Heisman balloting, also broke Barry Sander's record with 3,496 all-purpose yards, a total he will add to this game.
