2024 NCAA bracket: Scores, stats, for March Madness men’s tournament

One Shining Moment | 2024 March Madness

No. 1 overall seed UConn won its second consecutive national championship — and sixth overall — in 2024 after beating Purdue 75-60.

Tristen Newton won Most Outstanding Player of the tournament and posted 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds in the title game.

All No. 1 and No. 2 seeds advanced to the Sweet 16, though NC State later became the sixth No. 11 seed to make the Final Four. UConn's championship marked the first time a program repeated since Florida in 2006 and 2007.
