Boise State beats Oregon on halfcourt buzzer beater

During the college basketball offseason, we took a look at the country's longest active home winning streaks. Oregon had the nation's longest by a wide margin, entering the season with a 42-game home winning streak that dated back to January 2015. However, the Ducks will have to start over after Friday night.

That's because Lexus Williams and Boise State visited Eugene, Ore. on Friday night. The game was tied at 68 when Christian Sengfelder went to the free throw line and sank a pair of free throws with seven seconds left to give the Broncos a 70-68 lead.

Oregon guard Payton Pritchard drove down the court and tied the game with a layup. There were 3.1 seconds left and that's when Lexus Williams happened.

Williams took the inbounds pass, drove to the middle of the court and while standing in the middle of the Oregon "O," heaved a halfcourt prayed that swished through the hoop, giving Boise State a 73-70 win, ending Oregon's 46-game home winning streak.

As you could imagine, the postgame celebration was wild. Take a look at the scene from the Boise State locker room:
