Purdue rises, Wisconsin reenters latest women's college volleyball Power 10 rankings

College volleyball rankings: Purdue rises, Wisconsin reenters latest Power 10

Not too many changes in the Power 10 this week but there is a new face at the bottom of these rankings. Here's what you need to know:

🏐 MORE WOMEN'S COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL 🏐
🚨
🎥
🍎

1. Pittsburgh (Prev. 1)

Pitt volleyball

Pittsburgh at last, after 36-straight sets, dropped a set. We knew it would come but doesnt change a thing with the Panthers staying No. 1 in the country. In that same game vs. Boston College that Pitt won in 4 sets, Olivia Babcock posted a triple-double. 14 kills, 12 aces, and 10 digs. Just unreal numbers — yes you heard that right. 12 aces.

2. Nebraska (Prev. 2)

Nebraska remains at 2 — we have gotten to see just how much depth they have with Leyla Blackwell playing. She notched 9 kills on .692 hitting in the win over Iowa. The Huskers have Purdue this Friday so stay tuned for that.

3. Penn State (Prev. 3)

Penn State at No. 3 picked up a ranked sweep over Oregon. The Nittany lions were able to neutralize Oregon’s typical scorers and held them to a low .075 hitting percentage.

4. Louisville (Prev. 4)

Louisville women's volleyball

Louisville at No. 4 had another dominant sweep over Georgia Tech. The Cardinals held the Jackets to a low .064 hit percentage while Charite Luper and Anna DeBeer went off at the pins.

5. Stanford (Prev. 5)

Stanford notched two wins in the ACC over NC State and Wake Forest to remain at No. 5.

6 & 7. Creighton (Prev. 6) and Kansas (Prev. 7)

Creighton won in 4 over rival Marquette behind three double-doubles from Kendra Wait, Ava Martin and Norah Sis. And Kansas remains at 7 with two 4-set wins over Colorado and Houston.

8. Texas (Prev. 8)

Texas is really starting to settle in to its 6-2 offense and looks more and more consistent as well as dangerous. They swept Florida after trailing 21-14 in the first set. They pieced together a 11-3 run to win the first set and then sweep the match. I think the Longhorns will have a chance to move up now with a matchup against Kentucky this week.

9. Purdue (Prev. 10)

Purdue volleyball

Purdue is at 9 with the big matchup against Nebraska looming.

10. Wisconsin (Prev. NR)

Wisconsin women's volleyball

And finally at 10, I moved Wisconsin back in to the Power 10 this week. The Badgers had a dominating sweep over Washington last week, they hit .486 as a team. The offense is starting to look much more cohesive as the season goes along.

Oregon moves out one spot with the loss to Penn State in straight sets.

That's my Power 10 this week, let me know your thoughts.
