As we get ready for the 2024 season, here are some transfers that I think could make a big impact this season.
1, 2, 3. Reagan Rutherford, Whitney Lauenstein and Averi Carlson (Texas)
First, Rutherford, Lauenstein and Carlson will all be in Texas uniforms this season. Carlson makes for an interesting choice as the setter for the Longhorns. Rutherford I think will make an immediate impact on the right side, as she averaged three kills per set in her career at Kentucky.

4, 5. Taylor Landfair and Leyla Blackwell (Nebraska)

Landfair will be at Nebraska along with San Diegoโs Blackwell. Landfair was the 2022 Big Ten Player of the Year while with Minnesota, while Blackwell is an accomplished middle blocker who will compete for a spot in that rotation.
6. Ally Batenhorst (USC)
Batenhorst left Nebraska and will stay in the Big Ten to compete at USC. She is a great offensive piece for Mia Tuaniga, and I think she will make a huge impact in her last season, especially with the departure of Skylar Fields.
7. Taylor Head (Florida State)
We've got a lot of new faces on the 2024 squad so let's meet some of them

Let's start with taking a look at some of Taylor Head's accomplishments๐
- Two-time All-American
- Two-time All-SEC performer
- Two-time All-South Region performer
Yeah, we got a good one
Head transferred from Arkansas, where she helped the Razorbacks make big waves last season. By joining Florida State, she adds to a team that has some really good pieces.
8. Argentina Ung (Arizona State)

Meet Argentina!
Ung moved from Washington State to Arizona State after leading the Cougars to the round of 16 in 2023.
9. Sofia Victoria (UCLA)
Victoria transferred from Florida to UCLA, entering the Big Ten as a graduate transfer.
Power 10:
10 and 11. Maddy Bilinovic and Elise Goetzinger (Creighton)
Creighton picked up some notable transfers including Bilinovic from Penn State and Goetzinger from Kentucky. Watch out for the Bluejays this season.
