Fans, players show Kansas State's Bill Snyder support after cancer diagnosis

Kansas State coach Bill Snyder announced Monday that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer.

He spoke at length , explaining that he has been receiving treatment and doctors have projected a positive outcome for him.

An outpouring of messages of prayers and well wishes for the hall-of-fame coach began popping up on Twitter after the announcement.

Also, during Kansas State basketball’s recent match up with Iowa State, Wildcat fans and team members signed a giant get-well-soon card for Snyder.

He said responsibilities will fall to his coaching and support staff for now, but he said fans should expect to see him for spring football.
