CBS Sports and TNT Sports announce 2026 NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship programming schedule

TNT Sports and CBS Sports will provide live coverage of all 67 games from the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – with all games streamed on NCAA March Madness Live. Games airing on TBS, TNT and truTV will also stream live on HBO Max. Games airing on CBS will also stream live on Paramount+. 

TBS will televise the Men’s Final Four, beginning with the National Semifinals on Saturday, April 4, and then the National Championship on Monday, April 6, from Indianapolis. The National Championship will tip off at 8:50 p.m. ET. This marks the ninth time that Indianapolis will host the Men’s Final Four, and the first time since 2021. 

Saturday’s on-site Men’s Final Four studio coverage airing on TBS will begin with The Final Four Show from 3-4 p.m., followed by At the Final Four from 4-6 p.m.  

The Capital One Championship Central pregame show will air on Monday at 6:30 p.m., leading into the National Championship game. The Men’s Final Four and National Championship game will also be simulcast on TNT and truTV. 

The Men’s Elite Eight games will once again be split by TBS and CBS. TBS/truTV will air the games on Saturday, March 28, beginning at 6 p.m., while CBS will broadcast the games on Sunday, March 29, starting at 2 p.m.

This season, Men's Sweet 16 games will begin on CBS at 7 p.m. and TBS/truTV at 7:30 p.m. on both Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27.

Coverage of the 2026 Division I Men’s Basketball Championship will begin with a one-hour Selection Show on Sunday, March 15, from 6-7 p.m. on CBS, featuring the exclusive live first look at the bracket.  

NCAA Tournament game action will tip off with coverage of the First Four games on truTV – Tuesday, March 17, and Wednesday, March 18 – with coverage beginning at 6 p.m. both nights.  

Additional highlights: 

  • TBS will televise 21 games, including the National Championship, Final Four Semifinals, Elite Eight, Sweet 16 and First and Second rounds.  
  • CBS will broadcast 21 games, including the Elite Eight, Sweet 16 and First and Second rounds.  
  • truTV will air or simulcast a total of 24 games throughout the tournament, beginning with the First Four. 
  • TNT will air or simulcast a total of 15 games throughout the tournament.  

TNT Sports and CBS Sports will again present integrated game and studio productions with pregame, halftime, bridge and postgame shows from studios in New York and Atlanta. Studio shows will include The Road to the Final Four and the NCAA Tip-Off pregame show, AT&T at the Half, Capital One Tournament Central and the Inside March Madness postgame show.  

Last week, CBS Sports and TNT Sports announced the studio commentators and game announcers for their combined coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. 

TNT Sports and CBS Sports will also return March Madness Confidential, providing exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to select NCAA Tournament teams, with features airing during studio coverage and krikya18.com, to chronicle their Tournament journeys.

Accompanying the live television presentation, NCAA March Madness Live will once again be the ultimate digital destination for direct access to all 67 games of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Live games airing on the CBS Television Network will also stream on Paramount+. Live games airing on TBS, TNT and truTV will also stream on HBO Max. 

Additionally, fans will be able to catch the latest highlights, behind-the-scenes content and news updates across Bleacher Report, CBS Sports Digital platforms and the official March Madness X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat accounts for companion content throughout the tournament.
