We’re just about two months away from March Madness, but Memphis’s Kareem Brewton Jr. decided he should get some dramatic buzzer-beating practice in ahead of time.
So on Saturday, with his Tigers trailing Temple by two in overtime, he did this:
ICE IN HIS VEINS.

An absolute dagger by .
The neck-and-neck game was due for a bout of drama after neither team could find a bucket in the final 74 seconds of regulation.
Once they reached the extra frame, Brewton Jr. scored five points for the Tigers in the final 76 seconds, dropping in a layup to draw Memphis within one of the Owls, and then, of course, the winning trey.
The junior guard from Georgia finished the day with 10 points (so, half in overtime) and just one three-pointer… which he made when the stakes were at their zenith. What a shot.
