For the first time in program history, Tampa clinched the 2024 DII women's lacrosse national championship title after taking down Adelphi 13-8. The Spartans finished their very first national championship-winning season with an overall 19-3 record and an 11-game win streak.
The 2024 NCAA DII women's lacrosse championship began with a selection show on Sunday, May 12. Action started on Thursday, May 16 and continued through the national championship at Showalter Stadium in Winter Park, Florida on Saturday, May 25.

Championship History
The DII women's lacrosse national championship dates back to 2001, skipping 2020 due to COVID-19, with LIU Post taking the very first national title over West Chester. Adelphi holds nine national titles to make them the winningest team in championship history. Last year, Pace won its very first national championship after defeating West Chester, 19-9.
