The 2024 NFL draft is complete. Two former FCS players were selected on Day 2 of the draft, led by Yale offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie going 75th overall in the third round. Here's a breakdown of who was selected.

• No FCS player was selected in the first or second round for the first time since 2009.
• The seventh round saw the most FCS players selected with four.
• The New Orleans Saints were the only NFL team to select multiple FCS players.
• Kiran Amegadjie is the highest Yale Bulldog drafted since Jeff Rohrer was selected with pick No. 53 by the Dallas Cowboys in 1982.
• Amegadjie is a Chicago-area native and grew up a Bears fan.
• Jalyx Hunt is the first player drafted in the history of Houston Christian football.
• Mason McCormick and Isaiah Davis are the fourth and fifth South Dakota State players drafted since 2022 — making the Jackrabbits the only FCS team with multiple players drafted.
• Khristian Boyd is the first defensive tackle selected from Northern Iowa since 1991 when James Jones went in the third round to the Cleveland Browns.

• For the first time since 2018, no North Dakota State players were selected in the NFL draft, ending a five-year streak and leaving the Bison tied for the eighth-longest streak in FCS history.

Zero HBCU football players selected in the 2024 NFL draft

For the second time in three seasons, zero HBCU football players were selected in the NFL draft. Only one HBCU player — Jackson State cornerback Isaiah Bolden in 2023 — has been drafted in the last three years.

While the NFL draft has concluded, expect several FCS and HBCU players to find NFL homes as undrafted free agents.
