WHAT IS THE MARCH MADNESS MUSIC FESTIVAL?
Get ready for three days of excitement at the March Madness Music Festival, presented by AT&T, Coca-Cola, and Capital One! This year’s festival is located at American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis, IN. The festival is filled with top-tier artists, interactive fan experiences, and unique sponsored activities. From local great food to incredible live sets, we have something for every fan. Come for the music, stay for the sights—you don’t want to miss it!
TICKETS
Do I need a ticket?
Glad you asked! March Madness Music Festival is a non-ticketed event that is free and open to the public. We recommend arriving early as the festival entries will close to incoming guests if capacity is reached.
Can I reserve seats for the festival?
Whether you sit or stand, you’re guaranteed to have a blast! While you cannot reserve seating for the festival, feel free to make yourself at home on any area of our grassy lawn. Please note that folding chairs, stools, seating devices and blankets are prohibited. Check out a full list of prohibited items HERE.
Can I purchase VIP tickets?
No, you cannot purchase VIP tickets. March Madness Music Festival is a free, general admission event.
When can I start lining up?
Fans may start lining up at 7 a.m. the morning of each festival event day. The festival does not allow overnight camping.
What do I need to bring to get into the festival?
Just show up ready to celebrate! The festival is free and open to the public, so no ticket or registration is required.
Is the festival first come, first served?
That’s right! The March Madness Music Festival is a free, general admission, music festival for all ages. Fans cannot reserve seats or purchase tickets. Admission is free, and entry is permitted on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.
Are you required to be a certain age to attend the Festival?
Bring the whole squad! March Madness Music Festival has something for everyone to enjoy!
What is the AT&T Fast Lane Program, and how does it work?
The AT&T Fast Lane allows priority entry for current AT&T customers and (1) guest at AT&T Block Party on Friday, April 3. To take advantage of this expedited entry, fans must arrive at the east festival entry on the east side of American Legion Mall at 700 North Pennsylvania Street prior to 4:30 p.m. ET. Fans must be able to verify on their phone that AT&T is their wireless provider or have their AT&T fiber bill ready for verification.
Upon arrival, follow signage and staff direction to the AT&T Fast Lane to get your spot at the front of the line. Once doors open, the AT&T Fast Lane will be able to enter the festival grounds first! Note the AT&T Fast Lane is ONLY valid on Friday, April 3, and fans must arrive prior to 4:30 p.m. ET to take advantage of the promotion.
What is the Capital One Priority Access program, and how does it work?
On Sunday April 5, Capital One Cardholders and (1) guest can enter Capital One JamFest first once doors open via the Capital One Priority Access program. To take advantage of this program, fans must arrive at the east festival entry on the east side of American Legion Mall at 700 North Pennsylvania Street prior to 2 p.m. ET. Existing Capital One Cardholders must show a physical Capital One Visa or Mastercard bank or credit card to access the priority queue Lane. Digital cards and private label cards are not valid for this promotion.
Upon arrival, follow signage and staff direction to the Capital One Priority Access lane to get your spot at the front of the line. Note the Capital One Cardholder Priority Access Program is ONLY valid on Sunday, April 5, and fans must arrive prior to 2 p.m. ET to take advantage of the promotion.
LOCATION
Where is it?
This year’s Festival is located at American Legion Mall in Indianapolis, IN. Access to the festival will be available at the west entry of the festival grounds at the intersection of St. Clair Street and Pennsylvania Street and at the east entry of the festival grounds at the intersection of St. Clair Street and Meridian Street.
Where should I line up?
Fans can line up at the designated east and west festival entries.
While we want to ensure the best possible experience for our fans and attendees, please note that queue lines will open at 7:00 a.m. ET on each day of the festival. The festival does not allow overnight camping.

TRANSPORTATION
What is the best mode of transportation to the festival?
We recommend walking, utilizing public transportation, biking, or utilizing a Rideshare app. Downtown parking garages and surface lots will be open and will fill quickly. Various parking options in Indianapolis can be found by clicking .
Additionally, rideshare services like Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available, offering quick and convenient transportation throughout downtown. Designated pick-up and drop-off zones make it easy to access the venue for games and official NCAA fan events. Click HERE for more information.

Can I ride my bike or scooter to the festival?
Downtown Indy is incredibly walkable, so we recommend arriving on foot! While bicycles and scooters are great for the trip, please remember they aren't allowed inside the festival grounds.

Where can I park my car?
Parking will be limited, so we recommend public transportation, biking, walking, or utilizing a Rideshare app.

When is it?
The festival takes place during the weekend of the NCAA Men’s Final Four, April 3-5. The Festival will be open during the following days and times:
Friday, April 3: 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday, April: 4: 3:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday, April 5: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Can I arrive early?
Queue lines will open at 7:00 a.m. on each day of the festival. The festival does not allow overnight camping.
Can I leave the festival and come back?
If you leave the festival grounds, re-entry is not guaranteed. You are welcome to return, but will have to wait in line to get back in.
PERMITTED & PROHIBITED ITEMS
What do I need to enter the festival?
Make sure you are prepared! The following items are ALLOWED into the festival:
- Hats
- Sunglasses
- Earplugs
- Sunscreen (No aerosol)
- Phone charging case or phone charger.
What items are prohibited?

Any other item(s) determined by event management to be dangerous or inappropriate will not be allowed into March Madness Music Festival or any other NCAA Men’s Final Four events.
Can I bring my own lawn chair or blanket?
To ensure the most people can enjoy the festival, lawn chairs, stool, seating devices, and blankets are prohibited. Be sure to check out the full list of prohibited items HERE.
BAG POLICY
What is the bag policy?
Please see our bag policy HERE. Bags larger than 5.5” by 8.5” are prohibited. Clear, plastic bags up to 12”x6”x12” are permitted. Note that all bags are subject to be searched.
WEATHER
What if it rains?
March Madness Music Festival is a rain or shine event. Be sure to check the weather prior to arriving so you are dressed appropriately. Festival event managers will work with local law enforcement and media outlets to inform the public in case dangerous weather approaches that would force the festival to close.
FOOD AND DRINK
Hungry? No problem.
Stop by the Pizza Hut Mobile Kitchen to purchase your favorite slice! You can also purchase food and drink at any of our concession stands. The festival will have a variety of concession options, so come ready to try it all!
What type of payment is accepted at concessions?
The festival is cashless, so please don’t forget your debit and credit cards. Apple Pay and similar payment methods will be accepted.
What food or beverage can I bring?
Outside food and beverage is not permitted. An exception will be made for guests with medical needs.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
You cannot bring your own alcohol to the festival. There will be beer, wine, and seltzers sold inside the festival at various concession stands. Please note that a government issued ID must be presented at the time of purchase.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The safety and security of our fans, attendees, artists, vendors, and staff is top priority. March Madness Music Festival event managers and local public safety officials work to establish a pleasant, safe, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Where can I find a medic?
Medical tents are located inside the festival near the east entry and on the west side of the festival on Merdian Street near the restrooms. Roaming medical staff will also be patrolling the festival grounds.
Will there be water filling stations at the Festival?
A free water station will be available on festival grounds!
The following behavioral polices will be strictly enforced:
Indecent behavior, including excessive profanity will not be tolerated and could result in an ejection from the festival. The use of obscene and/or indecent clothing may also result in an ejection from the festival.
SECURITY
March Madness Music Festival values the safety and security of everyone in attendance. We work to create a secure setting where festival goers are safe while having the experience of a lifetime!
Local law enforcement and security will be roaming throughout the festival. Officers are present to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
Festival event managers, local law enforcement, and the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee have worked together to establish safety protocols in case of an emergency.
Designated emergency exits will be made available throughout the festival if any causable situation arises.
OTHER FAQs
Can I hand out flyers inside or outside the festival?
Individuals and/or groups are not permitted to distribute flyers or any other items inside or outside the festival.
Are mobile phone charging stations available at the festival?
A charging station, provided by AT&T, will be available on the festival grounds!
What is the smoking policy?
The use of tobacco products are not permitted in the festival or any City of Indianapolis Park and will not be permitted in the festival. This includes vape pens, cigarettes and chewing tobacco.
Can I rent a temporary locker?
Temporary lockers are not available, so be sure to plan accordingly! Remember to check the weather ahead of time and be prepared. Also, don’t forget to scroll through the permitted and prohibited items list.
