North Dakota State defeats South Dakota State, wins 2024 Dakota Marker
No. 2 North Dakota State won the 2024 Dakota Marker, defeating No. 1 South Dakota State 13-9. With the win, the Bison end a five-game losing streak to the Jackrabbits.
North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller showed off his clutch gene on the final drive of the game, going 7-7 passing for 76 yards while rushing for six yards on the drive. All but one play on NDSU's game-winning drive resulted from Miller, including his touchdown pass to RaJa Bell.
Defensively, the Bison limited reigning Walter Payton Award winner Mark Gronowski to less than 100 yards passing or rushing and without a touchdown.
