In the second half, Texas maintained its intensity. The Longhorns scored another touchdown, secured an additional interception, and held Michigan to just a field goal until the final two minutes of the game when the Wolverines managed to finally reach the end zone.

The Longhorns piled up 389 yards while holding Michigan to 284 and forcing three turnovers.
