Final results from the 2023 NCAA cross country championships
🏆 Oklahoma State, NC State win DI cross country titles
Oklahoma State and NC State won the men's and women's DI cross country championships, respectively. Here's what you may have missed.
Men's
Individual
Harvard's Graham Blanks was the first to cross the finish line in 28:37.7. Blanks took the lead over the last 1K, using a strong uphill kick to take the lead and the win. Blanks became the first Ivy League men's runner to win a cross country title.
Team
After losing a tiebreaker for last year's title, Oklahoma State left no doubt in 2023. The Cowboys finished with five runners in the top 15 en route to 49 points, 22 ahead of Northern Arizona. The title ended a three-title streak from NAU and gives OSU its first title since 2012.
Women's
Individual
Florida's Parker Valby was the first to cross the finish line in 18:55.2. Valby bounced back from last year's second place finish to set a new championship record to win the title. In fact, the top-three finishers all broke the previous championship record time.
Team
NC State won the 2023 DI women's cross country team title, finishing with 123 points, one in front of Northern Arizona. The win gives the Wolfpack three straight titles, becoming the the first program to three-peat since 2007.
🏆 Wingate, Grand Valley win DII cross country titles
Wingate and Grand Valley State won the men's and women's DII cross country championships, respectively. Here's what you may have missed.
Women's
Grand Valley State won the women's DII cross country title. The Knights finished with 59 points, 27 less than Adams State second place. The win is GVSU's first since 2018 and seventh overall.
Individually, Winona State's Lindsay Cunningham finished first in 19:30.1. Cunningham won by 15 seconds en route to the cross country individual title.

Men's
Wingate won the men's DIII cross country title. The Bulldogs finished with 70 points, nine less than Colorado School of Mines in second place. The win is Wingate's first in program history.
Individually, West Texas A&M's William Amponsah won in 29:04.3.
🏆 Pomona-Pitzer, Carleton win DIII cross country titles
Pomona-Pitzer and Carleton won the 2023 men's and women's DIII cross country championships, respectively. Here's what you may have missed.
Women's
Carleton won the women's DIII cross country title. The Knights finished with 151 points, three less than NYU second place. The win is Carleton's first in women's program history.

Individually, St. Benedict's Fiona Smith finished first in 19:54.1. Smith won by 63 seconds en route to the cross country individual title.

Men's
Pomona-Pitzer won the men's DIII cross country title. The Sagehens finished with 158 points, one less than Wisconsin-La Cross in second place. With the win, Pomona Pitzer has three of the last four titles.
Individually, Wisconsin-La Crosse's Ethan Gregg won in 24:02.2. With the win Gregg becomes the second runner from Wisconsin-La Crosse to win a men's individual title and the first since 1997.

Arkansas' Patrick Kiprop and NAU's Drew Bosley remain neck-and-neck over halfway through the DI men's championship race at 6K, with Kiprop reaching the mark in 17:18.4 and Bosley less than a second behind.
