Augsburg wins the 2024 DIII wrestling championship

Augsburg captured the 2024 DIII wrestling championship after edging out Wartburg 95-87.5 in the team leaderboards. The championship win marks Augsburg's fifteenth in program history. 

The 2024 DIII wrestling championship finals were  March 15-16 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, at the La Crosse Center with the DIII qualifiers released on Monday, March 4.

NCAA DIII wrestling championship history 

The DIII wrestling national championship dates back to 1974, skipping 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, with the first-ever championship trophy going to Wilkes. Wartburg and Augsurg each hold 15 national titles which makes them the winningest team in championship history.
