More than 1,000 current, former and incoming NCAA student-athletes will be in Paris this summer at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Around 400 of them help make up Team USA β€” with the rest going for gold on more than 100 other countries. These athletes come from all levels of krikya18.competition: DI, DII and DIII.

Team USA is especially full of NCAA talent, as 65 percent of the United States contingent played NCAA varsity sports. Some American team rosters even showcase 100 percent collegiate athletes, including women's basketball and women's volleyball. The USA men's basketball team also has a strong tie to college sports.

Stanford is sending the most athletes to Paris for Team USA, with . Worldwide, Stanford has 51 athletes, with USC (44), Michigan (42) and Florida (40) following.

The 2024 Summer Olympics run Friday, July 26 (Opening Ceremony day, though some events begins Wednesday, July 24), through Sunday, Aug. 11. It's the third time Paris is hosting the Games, following 1900 and 1924.
