Colorado Christian wins the 2024 NCAA DII men’s golf national championship

2024 DII men's golf championship: final round recap

Colorado Christian won the 2024 DII men's golf title, beating North Georgia 3-2 in the championship match. The tournament ran May 21-25 in Winter Garden, Florida, at the Orange County National Golf Club.

The 2024 DII men's golf championships began with selections on Friday, April 26 released here on krikya18.com. Regionals ran from May 9-11 and the finalists — 20 teams and 8 individuals — were announced via a press release

At the finals, all 20 teams and eight individuals completed 54 holes of stroke play. Following 54 holes of stroke play, an individual champion was declared along with finishers 2-10 based on cumulative total score and any applicable tiebreakers. The top eight teams after 54 holes of play were placed into a bracket and seeded based on 54-hole scores. The pairings for the quarterfinals were Seed #1 versus Seed #8, Seed #2 versus Seed #7, Seed #3 versus Seed #6 and Seed #4 versus Seed #5, competing in head-to-head medal play (stroke play over 18 holes and low score wins).

DII men's golf championship history 

The DII men's golf national championship dates back to 1963, skipping 2020 due to COVID-19, with the first-ever championship trophy going to Missouri State. 

Nova Southeastern took the 2023 national title after taking down Oklahoma Christian.
