The talent in HBCU football is on display as 22 former HBCU players made NFL active rosters after the annual preseason cuts.

There are big names from HBCUs throughout NFL rosters, including San Francisco's Javon Hargrave (South Carolina State), Kansas City's Joshua Williams (Fayetteville State), Miami's Terron Armstead (Arkansas-Pine Bluff) and Houston's Tytus Howard (Alabama State).
