2024 NCAA Division I men's and women's cross country championships qualifiers announced

INDIANAPOLIS --- The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced today the team and individual qualifiers for the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.

In order to be eligible to participate in the championships, teams and individuals qualified at their respective NCAA regional championship competitions.

GLOSSARY: Get to know the basic and advanced cross country terms 

Thirty-one teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the nine regions, for a total of 18 teams. Thirteen additional teams were selected at-large.

Thirty-eight individuals were selected to participate in each championship through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process. All individual qualifiers finished in the top 25 in their regions.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison will host the championships, Saturday, November 23, at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course located in Madison, Wisconsin. The women’s race will begin at 10:20 a.m. Eastern Time/9:20 a.m. Central Time, followed by the men’s race at 11:10 a.m. Eastern Time/10:10 a.m. Central Time. Admission to the event will be $20 per person, and parking is $5 per vehicle, with lot being assigned at the time of purchase. Tickets include entry into the event and round-trip shuttle service. Shuttles to the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course will run from 6:30 a.m. Central Time until two hours after the last race is complete. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and no later than 8:15 a.m. Central Time to ensure arriving to the course prior to the start of the first race. There will be no on-site spectator parking available at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. Walk-ins and rideshares are not allowed at the course. Spectators are highly encouraged to pre-purchase parking and tickets to help ensure a successful meet, and in order to properly prepare for expected fans and avoid lines at parking lots. NCAA cross country fans not in attendance can catch all the action live on ESPNU and the ESPN App beginning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time/8:30 a.m. Central Time on Saturday, November 23.
