The 2024 indoor track and field season is here and there is an exciting slate of meets ahead. Here are some meets that you don't want to miss.

Return from the holidays

  • McFerrin 12 Degree Invitational | Jan. 12-13 | Host: Texas A&M
  • Rod McCravy Invitational | Jan. 12-13 | Host: Louisville
  • Clemson Invite | Jan. 12-13 | Host: Clemson
  • Potts Indoor Invitational | Jan. 12-13 | Host: Colorado
  • Commodore Challenge | Jan. 12-13 | Host: Vanderbilt
  • Arkansas Invitational | Jan. 12 | Host: Arkansas
  • Stan Scott Memorial | Jan. 13 | Host: Texas Tech
  • UW Indoor Preview | Jan. 13 | Host: Washington

After a holiday break, some of the best indoor track and field facilities in the country host meets. Keep an eye out for meets at Texas A&M and Clemson, which could produce fast times across the board.

By mid-to-late January, indoor track teams will have long knocked off any rust and will be deep into the regular season. The end of January provides exciting meets in all corners of the country that will showcase sprinters, distance runners and more.

A national championship tune-up

  • Eagle Elite Invitational | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Boston College

The 2024 DI indoor national championships will be in Boston, Massachusetts, the same location as the Eagle Elite Invitational. This invitational will be run at The Track at New Balance like the national title will, giving teams a preview of the track and a chance to adjust to the travel schedule in one of the last meets in Boston ahead of championships.

The busiest weekend in indoor track and field

  • Tyson Invitational | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Arkansas
  • Jarvis Scott Open | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Texas Tech
  • Tiger Paw Invite | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Clemson
  • Husky Classic | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Washington
  • David Hemery Valentine Invitational | Feb. 9-10 | Host: Boston U.
  • 116th Millrose Games | Feb. 11 | The Armory in NYC

Exactly one month before the DI indoor track and field championships will be the busiest weekend in indoor collegiate track and field. Top-ranked teams and top athletes will go head-to-head. There are so many great meets this weekend that some teams are splitting up among multiple meets.

Last chance meets

  • Terrier DMR Challenge | Feb. 16 | Host: Boston U.
  • LSU Twilight | Feb. 16 | Host: LSU
  • Arkansas Qualifier | Feb. 17 | Host: Arkansas
  • Alex Wilson Invitational | Feb. 17 | Host: Notre Dame

This weekend will be the final regular season weekend of the 2022-23 season, with last-chance meets running around the country. The Terrier DMR Challenge will give college teams one last chance to work on their DMR order, handoffs and more. With conference championships up next, this will be the final time for some DMR squads to qualify for nationals.

Postseason meets

Most DI conference championships will be run the weekend of Friday, Feb. 23. Many Pac-12 schools will run at Washington's Ken Shannon Invitational in lieu of a conference championship meet. Click or tap here for more on the SEC Championships.

Two weeks later, the DI indoor track and field championships will be held in Boston, Massachusetts starting March 8.
