Here is my Power 10 rankings for Week 5 of college volleyball.
The top remains the same as last week, with all seven teams winning out. But I still go back and forth between Texas and Nebraska for the No. 1 spot.
1. Nebraska (Prev. 1)
The Huskers have earned the No. 1 spot for the fifth week in a row. Nebraska proves it's a complete and experienced team each week, adding sweeps over Michigan and Maryland to open up conference play. Big Red held the Terrapins to just .090 hitting and Rebekah Allick had a career-high-tying 13 kills on a .750 clip.

2. Texas (Prev. 2)
Texas swept Vanderbilt and No. 21 Missouri, adding an eighth-ranked win onto the resume to kickoff conference play. Torrey Stafford led the Longhorns with 15 kills and eight digs against the Tigers, powering them to their first 10-0 start since 2022. I don't think anyone could argue that Texas and Nebraska are at the top of college volleyball right now.

3. Pitt (Prev. 3)
Pitt stays at No. 3 for me and there is even more supporting evidence as they beat No. 11 SMU twice last week, once in a five-setter and again in four on Sunday. Olivia Babcock was absolutely unreal with a season-high-tying 29 kills while hitting over .430 on the way to the Panthers' tenth straight win.

4. Kentucky (Prev. 4)
The Wildcats stay put at No. 4 with two sweeps last week over Georgia and South Carolina. Lizzie Carr had a day against the Dawgs, recording a career-high 13 kills and seven blocks. Kentucky hit .368 and look to continue the momentum against Ole Miss on Friday.
5. Stanford (Prev. 5)
Stanford is at No. 5 again after two wins over UVA and Virginia Tech. The Cardinal put up some big numbers in the sweep over the Hokies, registering a season-best .435 clip. Outside Julia Blyashov led her team, powering a career-high 16 kills on .467 hitting with five digs, a block and an assist.
6. Louisville (Prev. 6)
It feels like Louisville and Wisconsin should be higher, but there is no way to move anyone below them.
The Cardinals earned three sweeps last week over Western Kentucky, Boston College and Syracuse. They held the Orange to just .040 on hitting in the Sunday matchup as Cara Cresse registered 12 kills on 19 swings with five blocks. Louisville travels to the West Coast this week to face California and a top-10 Stanford team.
7. Wisconsin (Prev. 7)
Wisconsin also added two sweeps over Rutgers and Iowa to secure an eighth straight win. The balanced Badger offense featured 17 kills from Mimi Colyer with impressive performances from Madison Quest and Alicia Andrew against the Hawkeyes.
8. Arizona State (Prev. unranked)
The Sun Devils move back into the Power 10 this week after a sweep over Kansas State and a five-set victory against No. 18 Kansas. Noemie Glover is back and on fire as ever, notching 25 kills in the win against the Jayhawks.

There are a lot of different ways that these next two spots could go with teams like TCU, Texas A&M, Minnesota, Purdue, SMU and BYU all viable options.
But there were multiple losses in that group last week also.
9. TCU (Prev. 8)
TCU still has the most ranked wins of that group, and that is why they earned the No. 9 spot for me this week. The loss to No. 20 Baylor was to a good, ranked team. Sophomore Evan Hendrix still shined in the Horned Frogs loss, leading all players with 25 kills on a .270 clip with 17 digs for her seventh double-double of the year.

10. Texas A&M (Prev. unranked)
I have Texas A&M at No. 10 after two big wins over Vanderbilt and No. 21 Missouri last week. Logan Lednicky drove the Aggies in the sweep over Vanderbilt with 15 kills on .480 hitting in just three sets.
First team out
Purdue: I just barely dropped the Boilermakers out after the unranked loss to Illinois.
