Here is my power 37 after the third week of college basketball.
T1. Purdue (Prev.1): The Boilermakers crushed Texas Tech to win the Baha Mar Championship.
T1. Arizona (Prev. 2): The Wildcats have a strong case to be a co-No. 1 after winning at UConn. They already have wins over UCLA in Los Angeles and Florida in Las Vegas.
3. Houston (Prev. 3): The Cougars are cruising into Las Vegas.
4. Duke (Prev. 5): The Blue Devils got the win over Kansas and then obliterated the buy-game competition.
5. UConn (Prev. 4): The Huskies lost to Arizona at home but were without two stars.
6. Alabama (Prev. 6): The Tide got the win over Illinois in Chicago after losing at home to Purdue.
7. Michigan (Prev. 7): The Wolverines are playing it tight, but still winning.
8. Louisville (Prev. 8): The Cardinals took down another rival in Cincinnati.

9. Michigan State (Prev. 16): The Spartans continue to climb and Jeremy Fears is dishing out assists at a record pace.
10. Florida (Prev. 12): The Gators are creeping back up into the top 10.
11. Illinois (Prev. 9): The Illini continue to play a tough slate and will be a Big Ten title contender.
12. BYU (Prev. 15): The Cougars rebounded from the UConn loss to blitz Wisconsin in Salt Lake City.
13. St. John’s (Prev. 11): The Red Storm will test themselves more this week in Las Vegas after a soft post Alabama schedule.
14. North Carolina (Prev. 14): The Tar Heels next major test comes this week against Michigan State.
15. Gonzaga (Prev. 22): The Zags have been rolling lately and could be in the top 10 if Players Era goes well for them.
16. Tennessee (Prev. 19): The Vols haven’t been tested yet. They will in Las Vegas.
17. Indiana (Prev. 17): The Hoosiers’ offense hasn’t been an issue for most games, but there have been a few droughts that need to be corrected.

18. UCLA (Prev. 18): Mick Cronin is waiting for the Bruins to play their best basketball.
19. Iowa State (Prev. 21): The Cyclones have quietly been flying under the radar in a loaded Big 12
20. Ohio State (Prev. 25): The Buckeyes could be a surprise top six team in the Big Ten.
21. Georgetown (Prev. 24): The Hoyas have the look of being a Big East contender.
22. NC State (Prev. 27): The Wolfpack come to the Maui Invitational as one of the favorites and with possibly the top player in Darrion Williams.
23. Missouri (Prev. 29): Time to give Dennis Gates’ crew some love. They could be the surprise contender in the SEC.
24. Arkansas (Prev. 23): The Razorbacks barely beat Winthrop and can’t afford to be too careless late in games.
25. Nebraska (Prev. 32): The Huskers are rolling in 2025, just like they were in the postseason Crown. They took home the Hall of Fame title in Kansas City.
26. Butler (Prev. NR): Thad Matta has the Bulldogs in prime position to make a Big East run after taking down Virginia at the Greenbrier.

27. Auburn (Prev. 26): The Tigers have some opportunities in Las Vegas for some needed quad one wins.
28. Ole Miss (Prev. 35): The Rebels are another team that needs some quality wins, but is at least beating the teams it should, thus far.
29. Utah State (Prev. 36): The Aggies are once again going to be in the chase for the Mountain West title. They crushed Davidson Sunday.
30. Wisconsin (Prev. 20): The Badgers shouldn’t schedule BYU in Utah or Colorado or anywhere outside of the Midwest.
31.Texas Tech (Prev. 10): The Red Raiders got blitzed by Purdue and need to have something positive soon.
32. Kentucky (Prev. 13): The Wildcats are beating the teams from the one-bid leagues, but need a quality win against a power four team for some confidence before the SEC.
33. Kansas (Prev. 28): The Jayhawks simply aren’t a top 25 team without Darryn Peterson.
34. Baylor (Prev. 31): Still have no idea the ceiling on the Bears, but we should know more in Las Vegas.

35. Oregon (Prev. 33): The Ducks pummeled their rival Oregon State in a prep for Las Vegas.
36. Iowa (Prev. 34): The Hawkeyes will finally get a test against Ole Miss this week for a true barometer.
37. Santa Clara (Prev. NR): The Broncos are going to be a problem for Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s in the WCC. They’ve taken down a team from the Big East and MWC during their 6-0 start.

Dropped out: Kansas State (30), West Virginia (37).
